Thank you so much for your interest in hosting my Seven Fundamentals of Ethical Marketing Masterclass.
This page should have everything you need to host. If you want us to make you something else or to book me for an interview, just reach out and we’ll do what we can.
Greetings,
Marketing for Hippies? Yes indeed.
If you find yourself either not marketing (because you can’t find a way to do it that feels good) or doing things that feel ‘off’ in your marketing because you’re told that they ‘work’ (or struggled with this in the past and could never quite put your finger on it) you might love this.
I’ll be hosting Tad Hargrave of www.MarketingforHippies.com, one of the OG’s of ethical marketing, for his free, 60-minute, The Seven Fundamentals of Ethical Marketing Masterclass.
I came across Tad… [TELL STORY HERE]
And it will be a Masterclass. He’s been at this since 2001, polishing his approach to marketing in a way that is a braiding of ethics, effectiveness and beauty.
Marketing can feel genuinely good-vibes, deeply respectful, trauma-informed, consent-based, conscience-driven, courteous, and honour the dignity of everyone involved (including you).
Join us on [DATE/TIME] for an hour-long deep dive where you’ll learn:
Why some of your past attempts at marketing either failed or felt awful (or both).
What the Seven Fundamentals are (and, I predict, feel an enormous sense of relief that marketing can both feel good and work) and exactly which order to tackle them in (it does matter).
Be guided through a series of ‘micro-reflections’ to help you figure out which of the seven you’re strong in and which you’re weak in (and what to do about it).

Why? Because [SHARE WHY AND IF MY WORK IMPACTED YOUR BUSINESS AND HOW]

In this class, you’ll learn:

Greetings,
I hope this email finds you well and inspired. I understand the challenges that most entrepreneurs face in marketing. The consensus seems to be clear: marketing feels awful and never seems to work as well as it’s promised to.
The conventional approach to marketing is dominated by approaches that are pushy, manipulative and unethical (even when they’re couched in more ‘conscious’ and ‘heart-based’ language).
The good news? My colleague, Tad Hargrave from Marketing for Hippies has figured out an approach to marketing that braids together ethics (it feels good), effectiveness (it works) and beauty (it makes people want to keep going in life) .
He’s worth listening to because his work came from his time learning deeply manipulative tactics from some of the top sales and marketing gurus in the world and he’s spent the past thirty years unpacking those teachings and making newer, more beautiful and useful ones.
Tad created a Masterclass that distills his work on marketing from 2001 until now into the most essential insights he could give you to help you market in a way that is ethical, effective and beautiful.

Tad Hargrave – Founder of Marketing for Hippies
Tad is a hippy who developed a knack for marketing (and then learned how to be a hippy again).
Since 2001, he’s been weaving together strands of ethical marketing, Waldorf School education, a history in the performing arts, local culture work, anti-globalization activism, an interest in his ancestral, traditional cultures, community building and supporting local economies into this work of helping people create profitable businesses that are ethically grown while restoring the beauty of the marketplace.
Tad did improv comedy semi-professionally for 25 years, co-ran Edmonton’s progressive community building network TheLocalGood.ca, founded streetcarshows.com and the Jams program of yesworld.org. He speaks Scottish Gaelic and helped to launch and co-facilitate the Nova Scotia Gaels Jam.
He is from Edmonton, Alberta (traditionally known, in the language of the Cree, as Amiskwaciy [Beaver Hill] and later Amiskwaciwaskihegan [Beaver Hill House]) and currently lives in Duncan, BC (Quw’utsun territory).

No scripts. No pitching. No inauthentic self-promotion. No high-pressure sales tactics. No manipulating anyone.
This is marketing you’ll actually do.
You don’t have to choose between ethics and effectiveness.
That’s the core idea here: Your marketing can be genuinely good-vibes, deeply respectful, trauma-informed, consent-based, conscience-driven, courteous, and honour the dignity of everyone involved (including you). You can get more word-of-mouth and market your beautiful work beautifully.
And, given the overly-saturated marketplace in the holistic and coaching world, it needs to stand out.
Ah… But so many people feel deeply ill at ease with the idea of self promotion.
Most entrepreneurs I know feel torn between either doing no marketing at all (because they can’t find a way to do it that feels good) or marketing that works in the short term (but doesn’t feel good).
I am suggesting that there’s a way to approach marketing that actually works better than the pushy and manipulative approaches you hate and that feels genuinely good to all involved. You can be a better marketer and attract all the clients you can handle – without sacrificing your integrity.
This work is all about developing what I call ‘ethical marketing for uncertain times’.
By the end of this workshop you will learn about:
Why some of your past attempts at marketing either failed or felt awful (or both).
What the Seven Fundamentals are (and, I predict, feel an enormous sense of relief that marketing can both feel good and work) and exactly which order to tackle them in (it does matter).
Be guided through a series of ‘micro-reflections’ to help you figure out which of the seven you’re strong in and which you’re weak in (and what to do about it)
What People Are Saying About This Work:
“By FAR the best workshop I’ve ever watched. I totally feel the weird pressure off of me and ideas are pouring in.”
“This is the first type of marketing that has felt good to me.”
“This made me feel better straight away! I have so much debt from so many courses that were NOT a fit for me.

“Hugely positive!”
“I’d honestly say the workshop was a 10/10. It was insightful, affirming, reassuring, clear, and offered inspirational steps for people to consider straight away. I particularly love the way Tad weaves real-life examples and humour into proceedings. I also love his candidness and honesty about what’s important in life – as well as the time it will take *realistically* to integrate the Fundamentals he teaches. I love that for those experiencing Tad’s work for the first time he literally practiced what he preaches with transparency and authenticity throughout.
So many lightbulb moments and several people jumped straight into the starter kit and got cracking!!I love sharing good work that helps makes business easier – especially for service based, soul-led business owners.
My own work is greatly aligned with Tad’s so it felt like a brilliant opportunity to help people solve something that is a bit challenge for them. Also – I believe we all do well when we all do well!
In terms of the prep, I also found that 10/10. Clear communication, very little admin needed from me, I loved the media kit that helped me get the messaging right, and I appreciated the ability to have questions answered quickly and to make direct contact with Tad too.
It was super easy with the hosting resources and having the tech/admin side out of my hands.
All i needed to do was share, which was joyful. Loved it! Thank you for the opportunity. Would love to help when Tad is next in the UK, so do keep in touch!” – Ali Knight, www.aliknightcoaching.com
